The cannabis stocks proved to be a little schizophrenic last
week. Quickly reversing a one week decline, the Let’s Toke
Business Marijuana Composite Index posted a gain of 2.9%.
This is another example of the increased volatility that is now
a characteristic of the cannabis group. Increased volatility
equates to increased investment risk. It is impossible to determine
at this time which is the aberration: last week’s decline
or this week’s recovery. To establish an uptrend, the
index must surpass the 1265 level.
